Tips You Should Know

Please read carefully our Terms & Conditions about Booking a seat/brushes/tote; payments; cancellation policy; and rescheduling a class.

Terms & Conditions


Just a strokes to dab on your canvas before you book a seat:
  • Your seat is not guaranteed without completed payment.
  • We do not hold your credit card information, and you have 15 minutes to complete your reservation.
  • For classes with Complementary Wine, Intended Artists (customer) must be 21 years and older, and present driver's license or Government issued ID. Otherwise, classes are generally for ages 16 through adult.
  • Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before class, so you can choose your seat or locate your group.
You may book a class as late as 6 hour prior to a class, but must NOTE your seat will be considered final and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. See Cancellation Policy for more details.


We use PayPal portal for payments. You do not need a PayPal account. Simply select option to pay with your credit card. Of course if you have a PayPal account, you can always track your spending. All payments are final. All online reservations ((Seats/Brushes) show the regular price, at checkout you may enter coupon code. One coupon per customer. See Cancellation policy for more information below. Seat/ Class reservation is not guaranteed until payment is completed.


Public Classes

Paint Tote - creative expressions of JelC Works, LLC has a 24-hour cancellation policy. You may cancel 24 hours or more prior to a session with the option to reschedule, but if you cancel under 24 hours prior to class or are a no-show, your credit card will be charged for the seats that were booked. If you fail to show up by the scheduled start time, we reserve the right to sell your seat(s) to another customer. Please call us (240-582-6868) if you're running late. Persons later than 7:15pm will not be allowed to enter class session, and may request a reschedule code for another class. Plan to arrive between 6:45pm and 7:00pm.

Seats/Classes/Brushes booked under the 24 hour cancellation allowance time, will not be eligible for cancellation, but may be rescheduled up to 6 hours prior to a different class, subject to a rescheduling fee. Seat/ Class reservation is not guaranteed until payment is completed.

We reserve the right to cancel a class if we have fewer than 10 paying customers signed up or due to inclement weather, acts of nature and/or unsafe/emergency conditions.  We normally make the decision whether to hold a small class approximately 4 hours prior to the start of class, and will contact you via email address and/or SMS or the phone number you gave us at registration.  We will also do our best to contact you earlier  to let you know of the possibility of a cancellation. We understand life happens, and would try to work with you within our specified time frames for cancellations. Customers later than 15 minutes who do not call and no-shows, will forfeit their seat and there will be no refund.

Private Classes/Events/Parties

At time of reservation for a Private or Fundraiser Class/Event/Party, we require a 50% deposit.
Private parties are usually subject to instructor and seats availability, so we request at least 30 days notice to place a reservation. Depending on the size of a party, a confirmed guest list and final payment is due at least 7 or 14 days prior to your scheduled event. This guarantee may not be decreased after this time, but may be increased upon approval by Paint Tote.

Life really does happen at times, we get it, and sometimes things come up and changes need to be made. It is our hope that you'd never have to cancel on us, but we understand if circumstances arise. If you must cancel a private booking, do let us know as soon as you can; chances are, there may be another group or event that may want the same date and we can oblige them.

We ask that you give us a 14 days advance cancellation notice. If you do not cancel or reschedule 14 days prior to your scheduled event, you will forfeit 25% of your deposit. If you do not cancel or reschedule 7 days prior to your scheduled event, you will forfeit 100% of your deposit.

Additionally, for guests who pay towards your event, if you cancel 14 days in advance, everyone who has booked a seat or reserved a spot for your event will receive a refund (or store credit if they prefer). Guests who cancel one week (7 days) or less prior will receive store credit or the option to re-book their party for another time (subject to rescheduling fee).


Seats/Classes/Brushes booked under the 24 hour cancellation allowance time, will ONLY be eligible for rescheduling  up to 6 hours prior to a class, subject to a rescheduling fee. Seat/ Classes reservation is not guaranteed until payment is completed. A confirmation with your reservation receipt will be sent via email. To reschedule or cancel a class, please refer to that email for links to cancel or reschedule your reservation.
